Amours Secrètes, Passion Publique is a live performance from French pop star Julien Clerc.
Despite his popularity in his home country, this is a very dull affair that leaves much to be desired.
The music is very simplistic and the way the music is arranged is simply terrible.
The guitar sounds too clean and processed, the music lacks drive, and Clerc is a very uninspired vocalist.
This is not a representation of his entire output, but the approach and style of the album does not translate very well.
This is only recommended for his dedicated fans, and even they should beware of the poor music found here.
