The third full-length album by Japanese alternative rock band Acidman, 2005's And World sees the band softening some of the harder edges of their early punk-influenced sound, as exemplified by the melodic, string-laden single "Kisetsu no Tou," although "World Symphony" is a more uptempo single, and the emotional "Aru Shoumei" attempts to blend the band's melodic sensibilities with their heavier side.
