The Seekers CD A's B's & EP's assembles all 24 songs that the group ever issued on EP in England through EMI, from 1965 through 1968.
The Seekers were more of an open book than most other folk-based bands of the period 1964-1968, evolving out of a Peter, Paul & Mary-style pop-folk into a pop/rock outfit -- they had a few obscurities that ought to have been better known, such as "Two Summers" (which is here), but the real beauty of this set is simply hearing their progress and evolution in state-of-the-art digital audio -- the sound (all in original mono) fairly glitters on this CD.
The annotation is more thorough than is usual for this series, with some information that isn't at all that well known about the quartet's later history.
