While replacing two important members could definitely be seen as a red flag, the pair make a great showing, proving that the sum of Texas in July is greater than its parts.

Longtime fans can rest assured that from beginning to end, Bloodwork is an engine for generating pure catharsis, putting the listener through a rage-filled wringer with every crushing breakdown and bestial bellow, so despite any changes, Texas in July feel like anything but a band in transition.
