Although Billy "Crash" Craddock claims that he's "always" been country, there's no evidence of it on these late-'50s rock & roll recordings.
Sounding very much like Elvis, Craddock tackles 21 rockers, novelties and teen ballads on this collection of his complete Columbia recordings.
A few of these tracks charted in Australia, but Craddock's success in the U.S.
was limited.
Some of these songs, including "Blabbermouth," "Sweetie Pie" and "Ah, Poor Little Baby," seem to have had hit potential, but it wasn't to be.
Fans of Elvis and '50s rock in general should check this one out.
