Two months after dropping the Gelato mixtape, Memphis-based rapper Young Dolph released Bulletproof in April of 2017.
Only his second proper studio full-length (following 2016's King of Memphis), the album was written in response to a shooting incident in Charlotte, North Carolina, from which Dolph emerged unharmed.
The album features production by trap stalwarts Metro Boomin, Drumma Boy, Zaytoven, and Cassius Jay, and lead single "That's How I Feel" features a guest verse by Gucci Mane.
The album was Dolph's highest charting to date, reaching the Top 40 of the Billboard 200.
