Ron Boots -- an e-music veteran, engineer, producer, composer, performer, and executive -- is on a mission.
He started it in the mid-'80s.
The mission is to spread his infectious good nature -- through his music -- to the four corners of the world.
It is a worthy goal.
And, while he might not quite reach all four corners, his music is full of cheer; Boots just plain enjoys life.
It has been said many times that "if you love your job, you never have to go to work." Boots hasn't "worked" in years.
Close but Not Touching is a great CD.
Boots puts his all into it so that listeners can get their all from the music.
With a mix of sequences and atmospheres, this disc overflows with goodness.
The hooks and riffs are biorhythmic.
Listeners will tap their feet.
This is a cool groove.
