After years of progressive rock, Wakeman shifted gears and produced this, his first solo piano album.
Recorded on a Bosendorfer grand piano and sold as a new age album, it's a pleasant and soothing collection of original compositions -- engagingly melodic, subdued, and tasteful.
(The recording is marred slightly by some low-end distortion, but it's a minor complaint.).
