The common Cugat's Favorite Rumbas was issued as both 10" and 12" LPs, as well as in a later electronic-stereo version.
As with his other Columbia LPs of the early and mid-1950s, it is a collection of hits previously released as 78s.
These are not his best rumbas, nor do they feature the great performances of Cugat's singers.
