Looking to destroy the stereotype of the polite Canadian, Comeback Kid deliver a healthy dose of bellicosity on their fifth album, Die Knowing.
Clearly going for the throat, the album is a circle pit-inducing blast of relentless hardcore that seems to only let up for the occasional breakdown.
And while this kind of chest-thumping, adrenaline-fueled music might not be terribly nuanced, its ability to get tempers rising cannot be denied, making Die Knowing a dose of pure aggression guaranteed to break the cool of all who dare to approach it.
