After gathering attention as a supporting act for Clueso and appearing on singer Ina Müller's late-night show Inas Nacht in 2011, 22-year-old singer/songwriter Max Prosa from Berlin released his first album in early 2012.
The 14 tracks on Die Phantasie Wird Siegen are mostly based around the acoustic guitar, offering Dylanesque folk ("So Wieder Leben," "Abgründe der Stadt") and romantic ballads ("Als der Sturm Vorbei War"), but also rockier moments such as "Tasunoro" and the first single, "Flügel." The album, which features Clueso guitarist Christoph Bernewitz, entered the German charts at number 20.
