Vancouver-based singer/songwriter Wanting's debut is a passionate collection of adult alternative pop.
Born in China, Wanting relocated to Canada, where she began working on this material.
Centered around her breathy, soulful vocals, Wanting makes uplifting and romantic music that brings to mind a mix of the atmospheric electronica of Dido with the more rock-oriented sound of Sarah McLachlan.
Given Wanting's knack for delivering sweeping cinematic songs, it isn't surprising that her single, "Drenched," was featured in the soundtrack to the 2010 Hong Kong film Love in the Buff.
