This is the debut recording from the Swedish prog metal band Andromeda.
Centered around the technical guitar playing of Johan Reinholdz and keyboardist Martin Hedin, the band offers up the typical prog metal fare that's been heard too many times before.
The cliché-ridden songs are mostly vehicles for Reinholdz's gratuitous soloing and are not helped by the deadpan vocals of sessionman Lawrence Mackrory.
Sure the band is talented, and for some that may be enough, but this generic brand of prog metal illuminates how saturated and stale the genre has become.
