By 2007 Berlin native Ellen Allien was one of the more prominent movers and shakers on the international electronica scene.
Splitting her time between recordings, DJ-ing, and running a label and party headquarters called BPitch Control, Allien was an endless fountain of energy and creative ideas.
FABRIC 34 (2007) provides further evidence of Allien's mastery of mixing and production.
A straightforward dance album that is also layered and evocative, FABRIC 34 features a mix of some of Allien's own personal favorite electronica tracks from the preceding year, including two cuts from her BPitch label.
