After an extended break from the rock world, Bad Company reconvened in 1985 with FAME AND FORTUNE, but original singer Paul Rodgers failed to make the trip.
His replacement, Brian Howe, was briefly the vocalist for Ted Nugent's band, and proved to have a flair for melodicism on Bad Co.'s seventh release overall.
The veteran band couldn't resist sprinkling some then-current rock sounds throughout the album (namely keyboards), but songs such as "This Love," "If I'm Sleeping," and "Long Walk" prove to be just as enjoyable as anything else on rock radio circa the mid-1980s.
