The huge chart topper "That's What Friends Are For" ensured that this would be a big hit album for Dionne Warwick.
The song has become a signature piece, even though it's not as compelling as "Walk On By," and Warwick's vocal isn't as gripping as that of either Gladys Knight or Stevie Wonder (or even Elton John).
But it was the perfect tune for the times and made everything else on the album insignificant (which it was anyhow).
