While Beres Hammond's soulful, lived-in voice is one of reggae's more intriguing, his albums tend to suffer from a hurried sameness.
Full Attention doesn't break that tradition, but it does contain a number of bright spots, chief among them the title track, a brutal rhythm machine built by producer Philip "Fatis" Burtell and bandleader Sly Dunbar.
