The first of a companion pair of EPs arriving less than three months apart in the summer of 2017, Future Friends: Part One is the debut of Superfruit, the duo of Mitch Grassi and Scott Hoying from Pentatonix.
Friends since grade school and bandmates since co-founding the a cappella group in 2011, the two started Superfruit as a makeshift musical-comedy variety series on their shared YouTube channel before releasing official songs beginning in 2016.
A set of jubilant, R&B-infused electropop inspired by their friendship, Future Friends: Part One charted in the U.S., Canada, and Australia upon release.
