On Hadouk, Didier Malherbe and Loy Ehrlich demonstrate their facility on a variety of wind and stringed instruments (respectively) from around the world, producing a number of oddly intriguing tonal combinations.

The music itself relies on rather simple song structures, but this allows the musicians to tap into a greater depth of feeling and enthusiasm in their playing than they otherwise might in this context.
