Teenage actress/pop starlet Miranda Cosgrove, best known as the title character on Nickelodeon’s smash hit iCarly, peaked at number eight on the Billboard Top 100 with her 2010 debut Sparks Fly.
Her 2011 follow-up EP, High Maintenance, finds the singer moving toward a more adult pop-oriented sound, though the catchy, melodic dance pop that won her legions of tiny fans remains at the backbone.
The five-song release features writing and production work from Max Martin, Avril Lavigne, and even Weezer's Rivers Cuomo, who helped pen the title cut.
