A likeable collection of 12 tracks from Louis Prima and his big band, several are questionable as to whether they are in fact his greatest hits.
Prima is closely identified with "The Lady In Red," "The Music Goes 'Round and Around," and "I'm an Old Cowhand," but they were much bigger hits for others.
At the end of the disc you get some novelty items like "Josephina," "Civilization," and the obscure "My Cucuzza," which are more individually associated with Prima.
In many ways, this is an inadequate "Greatest Hits" package, far from comprehensive or solid, but in other aspects, it's quaint and concise.
Of course there are better collections out there, but at a discount house for a cheapo price of a dollar or two, this would be worthwhile to own.
