After the somewhat half-hearted all-covers sophomore effort Fotografie, X Factor talent show graduate Giusy Ferreri presents her third album, Il Mio Universo.
Ferreri sounds focused and certainly more at ease in what she considers her first proper rock album, the one where at last she has been allowed to show her true colors.
More assertive, aggressive, and ironic than in the past, Ferreri also wrote five selections, among these the song she performed at the 2011 Sanremo Festival, "Il Mare Immenso," co-written with Bungaro and Max Calò.
