A three-CD anthology that roughly includes half the entire output of Fabrizio de André.
While an excellent sampler of all the albums, it cannot be recommended without some reservations, chiefly because it breaks the flow of the original albums.
De André was first and foremost an album artist, and in fact many of his masterpieces, such La Buona Novella or Non al Denaro, non all'Amore Nè al Cielo are concept albums.
While every track on this compilation is superb, casual listeners are better served with a single-disc compilation -- or with any of the original studio or live albums for that matter, since they are all almost uniformly excellent.
