It's marketed as if it were an official collection of unreleased Tupac Shakur music, but In His Own Words is far from being a legit collection of unreleased recordings.
Instead, it's mainly an interview disc, culled from a session at the San Francisco radio station KMEL-FM, augmented by a handful of urneleased songs, including two songs recorded with the Notorious B.I.G.
The source for these unreleased songs is questionable, and the entire record is more a sham than a success; only nondiscriminating fans need to seek it out.
