Contemporary with a few twists, Island Energy includes vocals, Gregorian takeoffs, long extended percussive jams, occasional jazzy guitar noodlings and sensual sax.
The 11 selections span over 50 minutes, and attempt to capture the party spirit in the tropics, with images of summer breezes, rich hibiscus and wild cloud formations above a turquoise ocean.
