Released in 2005, Kimi to no Distance is the 11th and final album by Zard, the nominal group that was the outlet for Japanese pop singer Izumi Sakai's work.
Belying her roots in the early '90s, the songs straddle the border between 1990s J-pop balladry like the single "Kakegae no Naimono" and rather more old-fashioned Japanese pop songs like "Natsu wo Matsu Sail no You Ni," which also featured as the theme from the animated film Detective Conan: Strategy Above the Depths.
