La Edad del Cielo: Sus Grandes Canciones reunites Jorge Drexler's strongest songs during the 1996-2002 period.
It includes material from the four studio albums he recorded for Virgin Spain: Vaiven, Llueve, Frontera, and Sea.
It was a pretty fertile period, which is well reflected in this compilation.
Some of his most beautiful songs are included here, like "Princesa Bacana," "De Amor y de Casualidad," "Frontera," "Horas," and "Zamba del Olvido." There are also a couple of songs that were not included in his albums.
"Anda" is extracted from the Luis Eduardo Aute tribute album ¡Mira Que Eres Canalla, Aute!, while "Un Barco de Sueños" comes from an Autor Foundation album aimed to raise money for children.
