Featuring a Nashville-recorded duet with Dolly Parton ("True Blue"), Quebec chanteuse Isabelle Boulay's ninth studio album, Les Grands Espaces, pays homage to her favorite country songs from both Europe and the U.S.
The covers-heavy follow-up to 2009's Chanson pour les Mois D'hiver includes performances in English (Lee Hazlewood's "Summer Wine," Etta James' "At Last," the Teddy Bears' "To Know Him Is to Love Him"), and French (Julien Clerc's "Souffrir par Toi N'est Pas Souffrir," Gerry Joly's "Mille Apres Mille," Daniel Lanois' "Jolie Louise"), alongside a brand new composition penned by producer Benjamin Biolay ("Voulez Vous L'amour").
