After years of exploring the blues, Gary Moore's return to full-fledged rock music was tragically cut short by his untimely death in February 2011.
While the new studio album he was working on remained unfinished, traces of it are documented on Live at Montreux 2010, Moore's final filmed concert (the show is available as an audio CD or on DVD or Blu-ray, with the latter two including four previously unreleased tracks recorded at Montreux 1997).
The set list includes several of Moore's '70s and '80s songs ("Empty Rooms," "Parisienne Walkways") as well as three new songs that were supposed to be part of his new album ("Days of Heroes," "Where Are You Now," and "Oh Wild One").
