The U.K.'s installment of Helloween's live mini-album triple assault of 1989 was by far the most rewarding of the bunch, and collected most of their biggest hits at the time ("Dr.
Stein," "I Want Out," "A Little Time," etc.).
Another cartoon cover can't mask the throwaway feel of these recordings, but quite honestly, the grimace-inducing "Rise and Fall" is the only real loser of the bunch.
Sound-wise, these recordings are clear and punchy, but one hardly gets a sense that they make up a definitive live album in any way.
For that, seek out Helloween's double disc live set of the late '90s, High Live.
