In a world awash with sugar-sweet R&B, Atlanta's Jonathan Rasboro, Timothy Cameron, Jimmy Gates, Gary Glen, and Gary Jenkins (aka Silk) have done well to survive the cruel passage of time, perhaps surprisingly considering that this, their fourth album, is virtually indistinguishable from their 1992 debut, Lose Control.
Although the cover of the Rick James and Smokey Robinson duet "Ebony Eyes" does the original little justice, the rest of the album is as slick as can be, and if you're still in need of freaking close to ten years on from "Freak Me" then you won't go far wrong with this.
