After finishing the nigh-on-everlasting tour that followed his debut album, Håkan Hellström calmed things down with this EP release.
All of the four songs are cover versions of folk songs that have meant something to him.
Three of them were written by folk singers in his native Sweden, a country with a strong tradition for singer/songwriters.
The arrangement is very similar to that of the album: trumpets, heartfelt vocals, busy guitars.
The most enjoyable song here is the opener "Visa Vid Vindens Ängar.".
