Iconic K-pop quintet Big Bang returned from an extended hiatus with their first Korean album in eight years, 2016's MADE.
Originally issued as a series of Japanese singles in 2015 -- titled M, A, D, and E -- the MADE Series compilation was released in the group's home country in late 2016.
In addition to the eight Japanese singles, MADE also included three additional tracks ("Fxxk It," "Last Dance," and "Girlfriend").
On MADE, the band's trademark mix of dance-pop and R&B was blended with contemporary tropical and trap influences.
Featuring production by Teddy Park and Big Bang members G-Dragon, T.O.P., and Taeyang, MADE topped the charts in Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, and the United States, claiming the top spots on the Billboard independent and world charts.
