Maren Morris began singing professionally at the age of 14, released three albums by the time she was old enough to buy a beer, and wrote songs for Tim McGraw and Kelly Clarkson.
But it wasn't until the digital release of her song "My Church" that country music fans across America found out what kind of artist Maren Morris really is.
Morris makes her major-label debut with this self-titled five-song EP, which fuses rock, pop, hip-hop, and country sounds in a way that reflects her bold and confident personality.
As Morris told a reporter about the EP, "I never really set out to make a country record or a pop record.
I just wanted to make it mine.".
