The debut album from Japanese urban stars Mihimaru GT started the band out with a cheerful sound.
Buoyed by songbird Hiroko's light vocals, the album promised a vein of R&B that would become a major style in Tokyo.
Light rap with softly sung female vocals would later become the style de rigueur for soloists such as Shota Shimizu.
On Mihimarhythm, however, the sounds are still new to the genre and fresh in the hands (and productions) of the prime duo.
