Produced by longtime frontman/guitar player Michael Sweet, No More Hell to Pay, the eighth collection of new, original material from the stalwart Christian metal outfit, arrives just months after 2013’s Second Coming, a 16-track retrospective consisting of re-recorded versions of some of their best-known songs.
Heavy, reverent, and hook-filled, yet imbued with a patina of minor chord-induced darkness, the new album, which according to Sweet, is “the record we needed to make as a follow up to To Hell with the Devil,” features 12 new cuts, including the blistering first single, “No More Hell to Pay.".
