October Sky is the third studio album by Stanfour and their first record after co-founder Eike Lüchow left the group in November 2011.
Recorded in their own studio on Föhr (one of the North Frisian Islands on the German coast of the North Sea) and in Hamburg and London, the album offers the group's trademark radio-friendly pop/rock in the vein of Coldplay, with stronger electronic elements and a few stylistic additions, such as the use of a ukulele ("Rule the World"), a banjo intro ("Strange Lights"), and reggae elements ("Bombay").
October Sky, which charted at number nine in Germany, features the single "Learning to Breathe.".
