Released two weeks prior to their second LP in the U.K., Outside Your Room leads off with "Alison," the sublime lead track off that album, Souvlaki.
"So Tired" isn't one of Slowdive's better moments, but the lazy lurcher might have served as a decent closer to Souvlaki, had "Dagger" not been so fitting an end.
The flip side features the hypnotic, smoldering near-instrumental dub of "Souvlaki Space Station" and closes with "Moussaka Chaos," which is more or less a six-minute extension of "Space Station." These songs are at their most powerful when they're allowed to wash over you.
