This four-disc set features a wide variety of rock and pop guitarists, some of whom one might expect, like Jeff Beck, Johnny Winter, and Jeff Healey, and some whom one might not expect, like Roger McGuinn, Shuggie Otis, and J.J.

Cale (all fine guitarists in their own right), and then there's the inclusion of Bob Dylan, a guitarist, certainly, but much better known for his lyrical talents and songwriting.

The mix of expected and not-so-expected works well here, though, making this a nicely varied playlist.
