Due to the use on various selections of a native American flute, an eagle bone whistle, the moxenio and pincullo flutes, a penny whistle, an oboe, and a duduk, this set appears to be quite exotic and potentially adventurous.
Unfortunately, pianist Peter Kater's synthesizers and his apparent love for smooth jazz make all of the music sound quite predictable despite the interesting tone colors.
The flutes and other instruments are merely props for the lightly funky, danceable, and rather innocuous music, which wastes the potential of the concept.
