Germany's Rage never failed to follow up each of their albums with an EP filled with outtakes, and 1994's Refuge proved particularly interesting for longtime fans by showing the band in a rare mood to cover other artists' material.
Good thing too, as their spirited renditions of the Police's "Truth Hits Everybody," the Troggs' "I Can't Control Myself," and The Mission UK's "Beyond the Pale" arguably eclipse this EP's merely competent title track.
[Noise/Sanctuary remastered, repackaged, and reissued Rage's early catalog in 2002, adding most of this EP to the band's Missing Link album.].
