When schlager singer Andrea Berg and producer Eugen Römer decided to go their separate ways, ending a collaboration that lasted 18 years, Berg had to find a new creative partner for her 13th studio album, Schwerelos.
Her choice fell on Dieter Bohlen, Germany's omnipresent pop producer and host of Deutschland Sucht den Superstar (Germany's version of American Idol).
Bohlen did not tinker too much with Berg's successful formula -- his influence is mainly felt in the ballads -- and the result continues Berg's string of hit records: Schwerelos reached number one in the German album charts (staying in the Top Ten for 16 weeks), the German schlager charts, and the Austrian charts, gathering five gold record awards in Germany and two platinum awards in Austria.
The 2011 Tour Edition adds six bonus tracks (three remixes and three new tracks) and a DVD with live videos.
