After breaking through to the mainstream with her Apple-advertised hit "New Soul," Franco-Israeli singer/songwriter Yael Naim returns with her third studio album, and her second with percussionist David Donatien, She Was a Boy.
The follow-up to 2008's self-titled sophomore outing incorporates classical and Middle Eastern influences into her trademark brand of sultry jazz-folk, and includes the single "Go to the River.".
