Recorded in early 2000, Simplemente Amor became Camela's sixth record, and the first international release by the Spanish trio.
Dioni Martin, Miguel Angel Cabrera, and Angeles Muñoz deliver a mainly up-tempo album in their own style named "tecno-rumba," a mix of flamenco/rhumba, dance-pop, and techno music.
Simplemente Amor (Simply Love) was produced by Jesús Gómez and Daniel Muleta, and features ten songs about relationships and unfaithfulness, including the hit single "¿Por Qué Me Has Engañado?" Camela brings out a different, contemporary, and captivating side of traditional Spanish music.
