Though technically not a Young Thug effort, the Young Stoner Life compilation Slime Language has the quirky rapper's prints all over it, dripping with playful production and his trademark singsong delivery, while showcasing a slew of up-and-coming names from the YSL roster.
Vocalist Karlae taunts on the standout "U Ain't Slime Enough," while MCs Lil Baby, Duke, and Gunna trade verses on multiple tracks, peaking on hypnotic trap highlights such as "Scoliosis" and "Chanel (Go Get It)." Tracy T. holds his own on the bonkers "Audemar" -- home to some of Thug's wildest vocal emoting -- as HiDoraah and Dolly front as hard as their male counterparts on "Expensive." Throughout, Thug injects his distinctive presence when necessary, pulling the best out of the YSL crew and serving as a tasty sampler of their individual talents.
The set debuted at number eight on the Billboard 200 upon release.
