Spirit of the Hawk is the first album by pan flutist Leo Rojas, who won the fifth season of the German casting show Das Supertalent in 2011.
Produced by Dieter Bohlen, the record includes the two songs with which Rojas won the semi-final and the finale ("El Xóndor Pasa," made famous by Simon & Garfunkel in 1970, and "Einsamer Hirte," which was a hit for James Last and Gheorghe Zamfir in 1977), a cover of Bette Midler's "The Rose," and cover versions of three classic movie themes: "Der mit Dem Wolf Tanzt" (John Barry's "Dances with Wolves"), "Der Letzte Mohikaner" (Trevor Jones' "The Last of the Mohicans"), and Martin Böttcher's "Winnetou.".
