This self-titled record is the third studio album by Swiss soul/pop singer Stefanie Heinzmann, who won Stefan Raab's strangely titled casting show SSDSDSSWEMUGABRTLAD in January 2008.
With songs by Eric Bazilian, Julie Frost and John Gordon, Jamie Cullum, and Kim Sanders, the album offers radio-friendly pop with light soul and funk flourishes and features a cover of the Isley Brothers' "This Old Heart of Mine." Stefanie Heinzmann charted at number three in Switzerland, number eight in Germany, and number 24 in Austria.
