Recorded live in the offices of Cherrytree Records, a branch of Lady Gaga’s label Interscope, The Cherrytree Sessions contains a cabaret-styled solo piano rendition of “Poker Face” and a stripped-down synth-only “Just Dance,” both effective showcases for Gaga’s charisma and songwriting.
The EP is rounded out by a mix of “Eh, Eh (Nothing Else I Can Say)” that contains nothing more than a human beatbox and a keyboard, a bare-bones mix that fits into this EP’s aesthetic.
