Characterized by chugging riffs, gruff vocals, and driving beats, Tantric have long carried the sonic flame of grunge figureheads like Alice in Chains and Soundgarden.
The group’s fourth album comes after a major group overhaul in which three of the original members left, leaving singer Hugo Ferreira to recruit a second line-up.
Newly energerized, Ferreira returned to the studio to record THE END BEGINS, a return to the feel of Tantric’s first album.
The album is melody-heavy, even verging into crossover alt-rock territory at times, but Tantric still kicks hard in the classic post-grunge tradition.
