The Glory Album is Christon Gray's first album for Kirk Franklin's RCA-supported Fo Yo Soul label.
Although it switches between R&B and rap-oriented material, its messages place it firmly within a contemporary gospel context.
The album displays more range from Gray than any other release, heard in the contrast between the sweet modern soul of "My Love Is Real" and the marching, almost outsized hip-hop of "Stop Me." Gray keeps it strictly positive, though.
